Our premium textured tresses are 100% human hair. With the proper care, your Au Naturale Tresses can last 12+ months. Although the hair can be dyed, bleached and styled using heat, this may alter the textured pattern and shorten the lifespan. We advise seeking a professional for all color and bleach applications for the best results. If heat must be used, it is advised to keep it at 350 degrees or less.

The standard color of our tresses is 1b, which is a natural black color.

CLIP-INS:

Au Naturale Clip-ins are 100% human hair and are available in lengths 14"-20". For a natural look, only ONE set is needed.

Each clip-in set comes with 9 pieces:

1-5 clip weft

2-4 clip wefts

2- 3 clip wefts

4- 2 clip wefts

WEFTED TRESSES:

Au Naturale Tresses come in 4oz bundles. They are double drawn and full from weft to end. 

For lengths 14"-18," we reccomend 2 bundles for a full head

For lengths 20"-22" 3 to 4 bundles are recommended depending on the look desired

For lengths 24" and up, 4 or more bundles are recommended

WIGS:

We take the guess work and headache out of wearing wigs. Our custom wigs will ALWAYS arrive to you "Ready To Wear". We stand on delivering protective styles that are easy to install, as well as take down.

Our custom wigs are machine made and 100% glue-less. Because we only make closure, seamless and u-part wigs; they are also 100% beginner friendly.

Au Naturale Tresses ships all orders using United States Postal Service (USPS).

A signature is required for ALL orders

Insurance is included for all orders in case there is an issue during transit. 

Please allow USPS  3-5 days after your order has shipped to receive your packages

Please assure that your desired destination address is correct before submitting any order.

Once packages are shipped, tracking numbers will be sent via email to the address provided with your purchase.

Please allow 2-4 weeks to process custom wigs, hair extensions, closures, tape-ins and clip in orders. 

***Please note, during a sale, Brown Friday, and other major sales, all wig and hair orders have a turnaround time of 4-6weeks.

Due to health regulations, Au Naturale Tresses does not accept any hair packages back after they’ve left our premises.

At this time, we do not offer refunds, however, we are happy to offer exchanges under specific conditions.  

Eligibility for Exchange Conditions: 

• Wrong head size 
• Incorrect color 
• Damaged, defective, or incorrect items received
• Other conditions will be considered at the discretion of the business*

Ineligible for Exchange Conditions: 

• The lace has been cut 
• The hair has been dyed or altered in any way 
• Caps have been cut or altered in any way 
• Original packaging is missing

How do I properly measure my head for a custom wig? 

*Please make sure that your natural hair is neatly braided to the scalp or that it is a flat to your head as possible for more accurate measurements* 

Tools Needed:

• Measuring tape (seamstress tape)
• Notebook and pen for recording measurements
• Mirror 

Step-by-Step Measurements:

1. Circumference:
• Wrap the measuring tape around your head, starting at your forehead just above your eyebrows.
• Make sure the tape sits just above your ears and across the nape of your neck.
• Note the measurement where the tape meets, ensuring it’s snug but not too tight.
2. Forehead to Nape (Front to Back):
• Place the tape at the center of your forehead.
• Extend it straight back to the nape of your neck where the hairline ends.
• Record this measurement.
3. Ear to Ear (Across the Forehead):
• Measure from the top of one ear, across the forehead, to the top of the other ear.
• Ensure the tape remains level across the forehead. Write down the measurement.
4. Ear to Ear (Over the Top):
• Start from the top of one ear, over the crown of your head, to the top of the other ear.
• This will give you a measurement of the width across the top of your head.
5. Temple to Temple (Across the Back):
• Measure from one temple (side of your forehead) across the back of your head to the other temple.
• Ensure the tape is level across the back. Note this measurement.
6. Nape Width:
• Measure the width of the nape of your neck.
• This is taken from one side of the nape to the other.
7. Front Hairline to Nape:
• Measure from the front hairline (forehead) down to the nape of your neck in a straight line.
• Record this measurement as well.
8. Depth of Crown:
• Measure from the front hairline straight up to the highest point of your head (crown).
• This helps ensure the wig has the correct depth.

How long can I expect for my HD lace closure to last?

Unfortunately, lace does not last forever. Because the material is so thin, it will begin to shed overtime. The timeframe you’re able to keep your lace before needing to replace it varies from person to person based on how much the wig is worn, if glue and other products are on the lace, and how well you care for your wigs.

What is Raw Hair?

Au Naturale Tresses only provides high quality, luxury hair extensions. This means that our hair is not mixed with animal products and has not been chemically altered. Each bundle comes directly from one donor. Therefore, you should experience minimum shedding and no tangling or matting.

What is the life-span of these extensions?

Our textured tresses have been tested over a period of time for its quality, resilience and maintenance requirements; to assure that we provide our customers with high quality, luxury hair. With the proper care, Au Naturale Tresses can last 5 or more years. As long you take care of your investment, your investment will take care of you.

How often should I wash my wigs and extensions?

Our wigs and tresses should be treated just as you would treat your own natural hair. It is important to co-wash your extensions and wigs bi-weekly with a high quality conditioner such as Joico.

Step 1: Place your wig or extensions into cool water

Step 2: Apply conditioner to the hair and massage in with your hands (do not detangle while it is dry and before adding conditioner) 

Step 3: Allow conditioner to stay on the hair for 30 minutes to an hour

Step 4: Detangle with a Denman brush starting at the ends and moving upwards 

Step 5: Rinse with cool water and allow the hair to air dry completely

When the hair has become oily or heavy, this means that there is product build-up and should be shampooed with a sulfate free, clarifying shampoo such as Dove.
